farº Nyon Festival 2022
Fluid Resilience is a liquid dance show, offered by Shannon Cooney, re-created on the banks of the Boiron.
Because our bodies are largely made up of water that circulates to the rhythm of our pulsating flows, we are in reality unknowing waves, whirlpools and backwashes. Cooney shares with us the spectacle of this subtle fluid dynamism that flows through us, informs us and sets us in motion.
Listening to and then following our internal tides may be an effective way to connect with water – that precious resource we have a responsibility to preserve – and to become resilient in the midst of a damaged world. Do you know how urgent it is for us to learn to go with the flow? Written by Festival director Anne-Christine Liske
