The above photo is of a class I taught to students at the UdK (University of Art in Berlin) in November, I danced 40 min improvisations and they drew. This was an invitation from the professor/team of Berlin artists Heidi Sill, Christiane Dellbrügge, and Ralf de Moll. We meet again in December and January, its a facinating process.

Mentoring at HZT, BA Dance Program at UdK Berlin.
The two dance artists I mentored, Cinira Macedo and Désirée Meul, for the summer semester are both continuing to work on the projects they invited me to mentor. One will likely be able to see part of their work at the HZT dance Festival in Ufer Studios in April 2013 or at the end of the session in July. For the winter semester I am mentoring the Didi Meier.

In November, I had a great studio visit with Canadian Choreographer, Ame Henderson who was working on a new solo dance project in Berlin. Her work with her Toronto-based company "Public Recordings" is significantly bright, keep an eye/ear out for her productions somewhere soon.

Shannon Cooney’s dance practices, creative research for her teaching and craniosacral work are parallel and interweaving streams.
