Tour to Northern Ireland
This weekend every one everyone (2013) will be presented in the Echo Echo Festival of Dance and Movement in Derry, N. Ireland. As part of the festival I will lead two workshop classes, and some of the participants will assist in the performances. It's a lovely dance space directed by Steve Batts and his admin, artistic and tech team are wonderful, and we are looking forward to the performances on Sunday the 9th of November. Development of the new production of "Moveable Cinema/Acoustic Sightlines" (a practice that has evolved inside my dance teaching practice Dynamic Expansion) continues. We are happy to be working with co-operation/partner Tanzfabrik-Berlin, the Oxygen Arts Centre in Nelson B.C., Canada, where i will do an artist residency in June 2015. We and sourcing and attracting other interests to realize the work for November 2015.

Mentoring, facilitating
The mentoring, facilitating project with Robert Kingsbury in his dance/teaching/making practice Berlin one-to-one phase completed. His work contiunes to grow and evelop in extraordinary ways. I hope those of you in Montreal, Toronto or Guelph or NYC can find a chance to work with him and engage in his teaching nad creative approaches.
Caroline Laurin-Beaucage, Quebecoise choreographer is in the Goethe Institute Residency at fabrik Potsdam with her creative partner Martin Messier. I offer my classes and we are exchanging dance research relating to my work in the visual field, "Moveable Cinema", neuroscience, dance and somatic practice and her somatic work, choreography and research into consciousness.
Heilpraktiker Course
Alongside production, teaching, and dance projects, I am studying for an exam in the Spring 2015. The purpose of passing of this exam is to be licensed as a "Heilpraktikerin". This enables my work as a Craniosacral practitioner to be certified as 'complimentary and alternative medicine therapy' in Germany. The course is intensive, rich in information and all-encompassing.
A retraining grant from the Dancer Transition Resource Centre (DTRC.ca) Toronto, Canada with whom I have been a member since 1994 has made this parallel training possible. I am very grateful on several levels for their presence and commitment in my processes over several years. They do exceptional work in providing many types of support for dancers in transition. Recently in Germany the Stiftung Tanz-Transition Zentrum Deutschland, (stiftung-tanz.com) was founded, they offer different modes of support then what I know from the DTRC, and address the German dance scenes. I fully support and recommend such organizations in their work to support dancers.

Berlin Practice days are Monday and Friday afternoons (with exceptions).
